Maduo, which means "the source of the Yellow River" in Tibetan, was established in December 1957 as a county. Located in the south of Qinghai Province, northwest of the Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Here is north of Animaqing, Shenshan, and Bayankala in the south. In this magical and vast grassland, the rivers are dense and the lakes are scattered. The famous Xingsu Sea, Eling Lake, and Zhaling Lake are located within it. The Chinese mother river, the Yellow River, also originates here. The reputation of "Thousand Lakes County" and "Chinese Water Tower", but the natural conditions here are very harsh.
